I was born on June 8, 2009 at 2:23p.m. I weighed 7.5 lbs and was 20 inches long. I wasn't too happy about leaving the warm coziness of my mommy's tummy. When I arrived, I was in this cold and bright room and there were all these people around that I didn't know. They were sticking me with things and taking all these measurements. I didn't like it at all.
Finally they quit poking at me. I got all wrapped up in a warm, cozy blanket and all was right with the world.
I have two really great parents. Their names are Chip and Kim but I call them Mommy and Daddy. They take really good care of me but they can be a little goofy sometimes. Ok, they can be goofy a lot. They love to sing me silly songs (I like it when daddy beat boxes) and make goofy faces. They make me smile a lot. They don't know it yet, but it won't take long before I have them wrapped around my little finger ;-)
After spending a couple of days in the hospital Mommy and Daddy brought me home. This is where we live. I really like it here. There's lots of room for me to play. There's lots more room than I had before in my mommy's tummy.
When I got home I met my older brother Caesar and my older sister Cleo. They love me very much and I love them. They give me lots of kisses. They have stinky breath so I don't like it when they try to give me kisses on my face, but I don't mind them giving me kisses on my feet. One day, when I'm bigger, I'll be able to play fetch with them. I can't wait! It will be lots of fun!
I have my own room. My daddy built me this really cool crib to sleep in. My daddy has built lots of things. He's a really good wood worker. I can't wait until I get older so I can help him out in his shop. We are going to build lots of things together!
Here's my ride. Mommy and Daddy bought it after I was born because they wanted a reliable car to drive me around in. No offense Scooter, even though mommy misses you, you were on your last legs and she feels much better driving the new car (yet to be named). It goes really fast (especially when mommy is driving). I've got my own seat but I have to sit facing backwards. I don't like that very much because I can't see what's going on. Eventually I get to turn around but not until I'm a year old. It's going to be a long year.
Now you know everything there is to know about me, for now anyway. Stay tuned as I write all about my new adventures. I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot of fun growing up:-) But right now, after all this writing, I'm pooped.
Very cute. What a creative way to keep us updated. Love it!
